This is one of the meta things I like best about Doctor Who at this point: the fact that it's been around so long, generations of Brits have grown up with it. I suppose that probably happens with shows like Coronation Street too (I haven't seen it, but I know it's been on forever), but I would think the fandom for DW must run deeper and make itself felt in more pop-culture ways (or am I wrong about that? Brit-muns?).

Anyway, apparently the daughter of Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor, and still my favorite by far of the 'old' ones) has been cast in an upcoming role. And in the same interview Davison says what Tennant might have been feeling in acting with him was probably just what Davison was feeling when acting with Patrick Troughton (the Second) in The Five Doctors.

Which is really wonderful in lots of ways.
